The Support Services Division performs support functions related to law enforcement such as 911 communications, records management, information technology (IT) administration, open records requests, the hiring process, grant writing, policy development, and state certification. Captain Lynnette LaRocque heads the Support Services Division and is directly accountable to the Sheriff.
Captain LaRocque, a U.S. Army veteran, has been employed with the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office since 1990. During her time at the sheriff’s office, she has worked as an under cover deputy, road deputy, training officer, and patrol shift lieutenant. She has also served as the commander of the patrol division, investigation division, and jail division. She began overseeing the Support Services Division in 2000. Captain LaRocque is a master instructor, firearms instructor, shotgun instructor, and field training officer. She is also a certified C.A.L.E.A. assessor, state certification assessor, and Glock armorer.
Captain LaRocque is a Summa Cum Laude graduate from Georgia College & State University where she received a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in management of information systems. She is currently enrolled in the Georgia College and State University Master of Management Information Systems program.
