How do I send money to someone in jail?
Call the commissary clerk to open an account using the inmate ID number at 478-445-2212. Once this is completed, there are three ways in which money can be added to the account. (1) Visit www.jailatm.com (2) Money Gram (including all Wal-Mart locations) (3) Automated operator 24/7 at 478-387-4485.
I was released from jail and had money in my account. How do I retrieve this money?
You may pick up the remainder of your commissary funds between the hours of 9:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. The funds will be returned to you in the form of a check. No one can retrieve your funds for you. You must come to the jail in person to receive the check.
When I was arrested, my property was taken. How do I get it back?
If you are released after normal business hours, you can come to the jail between the hours of 8:30 am and 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, and get your property. Jail staff does not have access to your property after hours or on weekends.
